Cider Pressing begins with the 2006 harvest of New York State grown apples.  Watch cider being made the old-fashioned way in our 1856 water-powered mill.  Visit the Cider Gallery’s exhibit entitled “Power, Process & Popularity.”

Cooperstown Rotary Apple Fest

Cooperstown Rotary AppleFest -Music, Antique Tractors and Family Fun.  Hosted by the Cooperstown Rotary Club and sponsored by regional businesses.  The festival welcomes apple lovers and antique and classic tractor enthusiasts to the Fly Creek Cider Mill to enjoy live music, sponsors' exhibits, a tractor show and family fun. Sponsorship opportunities are available through Rotary at 607-547-4149. Hours are10 am to 5 pm Saturday and 12 to 5 pm Sunday, donation fee, free parking.

Big Squeeze Weekend

Big Squeeze Weekend! - In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard will host Bassett HealthCare’s Mobile Mammography Program.  Information regarding breast cancer and early detection through the use of mammography and about the health benefits of apples will be distributed.  The Program staff will be available to answer questions or to schedule appointments.

Fly Creek Cider Festival

Fly Creek Cider Festival sponsored by the Fly Creek Cider Mill.  Enjoy autumn's most flavorful beverage, cider, at the peak of Upstate NY’s spectacular fall foliage. Observe cider making operations throughout the day using the Mill’s vintage equipment dating back to 1856.  Sample our cider made without modern technology that provides a taste of NY’s water-powered past.  Entertainment will be scheduled at a later date.
